• About: Tāmaki Makaurau is the most urban of the seven Māori electorates centred on Auckland south of the Harbour Bridge. The electorate includes the west Auckland suburbs of Kelston Glen Eden Glendene Te Atatū South the Henderson Valley and the west coast communities from Te Henga (Bethells Beach) to Whatipu. Tāmaki Makaurau’s southern border bisects the Manukau Harbour and incorporates many of the suburbs around Manukau City.
