• About: Northland is the northernmost general electorate of New Zealand and encompasses the entire Far North District and Kaipara District and a small rural section of Whangārei District. The boundaries of the electorate are largely determined by the Northland coastline. The electorate now extends from a line between Mangawhai on the east coast and the upper Kaipara Harbour on the west coast to Cape Reinga but excludes Whangārei and environs.
