• About: Bay of Plenty is a general electorate on the east coast of the North Island. The electorate is ‘U’-shaped with ‘arms’ that surround but do not include Tauranga city. The eastern arm extends along the coastal strip past Papamoa Beach. The Kaimai Ranges mostly determine the western boundary as far north as but not including Matakana Island.
